About us

Who we are

‘Stories for Inclusion’ was launched through a partnership between Biblionef and Niketan, two non-profit NGOs based in the Netherlands.

Niketan
Niketan offers high-quality care and education for children and young people with a complex disability in Bangladesh. We dream of a world in which these children and young people are accepted and can join school. A world in which they can decide their own future. We believe that the best way to do this is through a holistic approach.

Biblionef
Biblionef wants to make children all over the world enthusiastic about reading.  Reading is not only fun, but also good for their personal and social development. Reading opens their world!  Biblionef cooperates with schools, libraries and other organisations in areas where reading is not so ordinary. Every child should be able to read.

Before reading the book, I did not want anyone with a disability to come close. After having read the book, I now understand that we must get close and support each other.
